about me

I specialize in working with those who are trying to balance feelings of anxiety, dealing with a life change or stressor, and looking to connect with themselves on a deeper level. You may know that you want things to be different in your life, but you’re feeling stuck with where to begin. You may also be looking for ongoing support navigating the ups and downs of life.

My approach is warm, relatable, compassionate, playful, and very human. I am passionate about helping people find feelings of safety and connection with themselves and with others, and my ultimate goal is to help you feel at home within yourself. I incorporate mind-body practices, EMDR, ‘parts work’, Synergetic Play Therapy, CBT, and mindfulness into my work with clients.

I am a mom to two energetic littles and in my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, yoga, painting, being in nature, and living room dance parties.

How I’m Different

  • I firmly believe that relationship is the most important part of the therapy process. Sometimes it's not about 'doing', as much as being in relationship that promotes growth and healing. I prioritize building relationship and authentic connection to help you feel heard, felt, understood, and valued during our time together.

  • I use an integrated approach that is tailored to your specific treatment needs, which includes a balance of learning how to ‘be with’ the emotions/sensations you experience, teaching tangible coping strategies, and going deeper to healing the root of these difficult feelings.

  • I utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions and ways to support clients, including mindfulness, movement, grounding techniques, EMDR (eye movement desensitization & reprocessing), and listening to the wisdom of the body.
